Statement Update Date: 12/12/2024 We at “The Constellation Way” recognize the importance of accessibility in the digital and physical space for people with disabilities and consider it an integral part of our service concept and social responsibility. Website Accessibility and Support for Assistive Technologies The accessibility adjustments to the website were made in accordance with Mark C: Internet Services in the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) 2013, to the Israeli Standard TI 5568 based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. The website was made accessible to Level AA and subject to changes and adjustments made to the Israeli Standard document. The website was tested and made accessible with the guidance and advice of Migdal Or, a multi-service center for people with blindness and visual impairments. The testing process included the inclusion of people with blindness and visual impairments.
Best practices for website accessibility
This website can be browsed in an optimal and accessible manner using common browsers, and it is recommended to use the Chrome browser and common screen reader programs: NVDA / Jaws All operations are supported by a keyboard, so any assistive technology that uses a keyboard can be connected for navigation and operation. The accessibility of the website is reflected in the following issues:
Design The font can be increased without affecting the information. The information on the site is organized hierarchically and simply. For optimal contrast, you can use the accessibility plugin embedded in the site.
Site navigation and actions The site is screen reader-friendly without the need to activate an accessibility plugin. The site can be operated fully using the keyboard, not just the mouse. There is a visible focus, however, for a more emphasized focus, you can activate “keyboard navigation” in the accessibility plugin. The site has been designed so that navigation is consistent and understandable, and the required content can be found in more than one way.
Content The content is written in clear language. There is alternative text for images, buttons and links so that you can get an audio indication of all visual content on the site.
